Creative Stoneworks
"Creating quality stone masonry and landscape stone work in Siskiyou County for the past 7 years."
Tony began his career 25 years ago as a unique creative painter, crafting evocative images of raw archetypal visions. In 1985, he studied landscape architecture at the University of Idaho, which brilliantly united his love for art and the outdoors. After receiving his bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Mr. Corsini then went on to learn the finer points of landscape design and construction in the Colorado Rockies. It was there, in those powerful mountains that Tony became familiar with the many subtle languages of stone.
"My skill as mason will always increase with experience, but I also strive to create a unique story in the stone, a story the stone already is trying to tell. As an artist, I seek to build a sculptural statement with each project I put my hands to."
Study of sacred geometry and esoteric spirituality has inspired Tony to construct dynamic and often dramatic stone environments with an underlying framework of mystical symmetry. This framework might be literal and readily obvious, it might be symbolic and hidden, or it might be metaphorical thus open to interpretation.
"In all my works there is a hidden story secreted within the outward forms. One must look hard and study diligently to find the morsel of wisdom locked in the stone."
